Jim Horn has been an avid and successful hunter for over forty years.  Jim attended college in Visalia, California.  He then pursued a successful twenty seven year long career in law enforcement.  Jim retired in 1994 and moved to Oregon with his family.

     Once settled in Oregon, Jim hunted for a way to combine the knowledge he gained from speaking in public and training personnel with his passion for hunting and calling game.  This led Jim to Will Primos and Primos Hunting Calls ®.  Jim soon joined the Primos Calling Team® as the Western Promotions Manager.

     Just about everyone who has met Jim Horn at his seminars or other promotional functions knows that he has a very outgoing personality and possesses a genuine interest in helping others.  For several years, Jim has enjoyed himself as a staff shooter for Hoyt Archery, Wild Life Research, Mossy Oak, Montana Black Gold, Ripcord Arrow Rest, and Tight Point Broadheds. Jim has also teamed up with Sims Vibration Laboratories , and Winners Choice Custom Bowstrings .  Jim has written articles for Elk Hunter Magazine and is the host for "Always Hunting with Winner's Chioce."      Jim Horn now resides in LaPine, Oregon with his wife Ann.  He has thousands of acres of BLM land at his back door, which makes it easier for him to pursue and enjoy his second career -  promoting his love of hunting and the outdoors.
